Welcome to Our Story. We are Terry and Angel Burch, mid-life farmers, entrepreneurs, animal lovers and self-sustainers.
Childhood only prepared us somewhat for where we are now. Growing up on a farm with large gardens and cattle, Terry was probably a bit more prepared than Angel, whose only farm experience was a week at a great Aunts farm in Alabama. Both of us were forever imprinted with the memories of fresh hay in the barn, feeding chickens and watching calves play in the field.
We did not realize until later in life how much of an impact those childhood memories would have on us!
When someone you know gives you a gift, it Is a blessing. Whether you realize you need that gift or not.
A year after buying our Acreage, someone gave us 4 little goats. 3 Does (females) and one Buck (male) that was the offspring of one of the does. In one moment we went from calm and peaceful living, to utter and complete chaos! But after figuring out how to keep the goats from escaping, we finally did settle into receiving the rewards of their existence - Goat Milk! The same Goat milk that we use to make our amazing soaps.
Once we “mastered” goats, we moved on to Longhorns. It wasn’t long before we fell in love with these giant ‘love muffins’ with beautiful coats and gorgeous horns.
Two turned into 4, then 5, and now we are expecting (or our girls are expecting) more! We are proud of our little herd and will keep you posted on them!
Since we established our animal base, we wanted to address our personal heath more by growing things that would a benefit
Enter Moringa!
We had the privilege of meeting an expert on Moringa, and we were so impressed with this plant that we HAD to start growing it! But alas, things were not as easy as we thought they would be. Our first year was hit and miss. The learning curve was steep to say the least. But perseverance paid off! Our first successful crop of Moringa trees started growing and producing enough product to create Teas, Suppliments, and Powder. We were so excited about bringing health and wellness to our community. Until the spring of 2024 when some freak pop-up storms drowned our Moringa Trees.
But we again have beat the weather and will be coming back strong in 2025! Check our Facebook page for updates on the season. We can’t wait to provide our clients with the Blessing of Moringa!
